Just an idea for all those people who feel like there being censored when someone flags there post. The ultimate solution is to get rid of the flag button entirely. Although I think when they created this platform they were trying to prevent government censorship and censorship from some parent corporation or foundation and for the most part that is what has happened, but people still get snippy when someone flags there post banishing it to the bottom of the list hiding it from other users who are to lazy (like me) to scroll down there and reveal it. I feel your pain and my solution to this problem is to get rid of the flag button entirely.
The problems this will cause will be enumerable, and "troll control" will degrade but we will still have one button that can handle content we don't wish to view from certain users we deem disagreeable and that is your friendly neighborhood mute button, Sound fair? The idea is sound and we should get the desired effect of no more people calling foul on are proverbial play. We should give it a try, see what happens.
side note: can someone do me a favor and print this out and redact all the government secrets?
