Hello everyone out there, it's a beautiful Friday afternoon here in Nigeria, Abuja precisely. I'm glad to say this is my 4th month on steemit and it has really been awesome and I'm really enjoying everything here than other social platforms.
Today been my 4th month on steemit hasn't really been yeildful in the aspect of income but does it actually matters?. Each and everyone here joined this platform with a special interest, aim and goals. When I was introduced to steemit, I was introduced with the intention of just making Steem dollars and so on but as time goes on I get to realize that their is more to that. Had it been by now I still had the goals of making the dollars only, I wouldn't have learnt more, I wouldn't have known more and most importantly I wouldn't have known the people I know now.
Steemit is really a wonderful place to be only if you see it that way!. There is more than fun here and everything you need is at a platter of gold.
Apart from making dollars, I've learnt to communicate with people of same interests, read news around the globe, view amazing photo shots from the best photographers and even joining a contest with many participants and you'll be like, oh lord!! Would I win?, oh yes of course, you will if your entry is better than the best!!.
Alot of people are beginning to sign up to steemit with bad intentions, goals and objectives which definitely will affect their way of progressing in the community. Each day welcomes new people and they keep asking, why don't I get upvotes ?, why don't I get comments ? And the answer to it it's very simple. It's because you came in with the wrong objectives.
How do you see steemit Today?.
As a community where you'll interact with people of same likeness?, learn as many important things as possible?, make new friends?, join in contest and defeat all participants and have fun to the fullest? Or you see it as a place where you'll log in, make some steem dollars and log out?.
