Agreed on everyone has their way on Steemit.
Think about it this way ..
STEEM represents a commodity where the value is dictated by what the market believes its value is.
Steemit is a "country" (platform) where they are a ~800k+ population at the moment.
Since there's no centralized authority, the population here is a reflection of how society would behave if there is no government.
Some would abuse it for good; some will exploit it, and so on ..
It really boils down to us to form (in your words) teams to self-regulate this new economy to the right direction.
