TIME TO FULLY ABANDON STEEMIT
I closed my Steemit.com tab a couple of hours ago, and I'm not planning on using it again in the foreseeable future. I've never been a Steemit fan to be fair - I hardly ever used it. When I first started, of course, I used it since that was all I knew. I soon found Busy.org and made a switch to using that. I preferred the interface and liked the Busy upvote.
I know some people here that used it even less than I did - mainly DTubers. They, like me, used Steemit to make changes to settings, update keys, e.t.c., but apart from that, they used their favourite dapp.
I'm writing this on SteemPeak, which I'm starting to fall in love with to be honest. I love the coder form factor with the preview on the right hand side rather than below the text editor. eSteem also uses this form factor.
There are so many features on SteemPeak also, that make it so nice to create a post in. It would be a lot better, of course, bit is limited by the Markdown of the blockchain.
I recently returned to using Steemit when Communities was released, but now that SteePeak has communities compatibility, I'm good!
TIME TO LEAVE
I highly encourage all content creators that love the Steem blockchain to consider abandoning Steemit.com in light of the ongoing hostilities by the new owner Justin Sun. It doesn't have to be SteemPeak, you can pick your favourite dapp from the available list.
I'm going to be spending my time between SteemPeak and Busy, since I'm still getting the sweet little upvote. Mind you, I hear their delegations have changed so that may have dwindled to nothing now. We shall see.
Peace & Love,
Adé
