Likewise I have found myself clicking on certain posts only to get a few lines in and realize I was getting an unwanted, extreme closeup into someones personal issues. For me the answer to this is, as always, voluntary exchange. If you title your post or make it clear in the first sentence that you are seeking advice for a personal problem or simply venting, you are setting up your audience to voluntarily participate as therapists or friends. All action and exchange should be voluntary and consensual!
