So in this journey #2, I thought of travelling to 2 holy places of India with my entire family.
Haridwar, Uttarakhand, IN
Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh, IN
Post does not get taller, so I will talk about Haridwar travelling in Journey #2.
Haridwar in Hindu religion means the door to God. Many traditional or spiritual incidents are related to this holy place. As if bathing in "Har Ki Pauri" here, all sins will washed off in the holy river "Ganga". Here is the number of ancient temples, which brings peace and good thoughts to the mind, which proves to be beneficial for our future and to move in such places we would have lots of enjoyments. We came to know the types and character of people here. We would know the traditional foods of respective places and lots of information.
So we plan that we will all go to Haridwar first then Vrindavan in April 2018. There was a 5-day program in Haridwar. In these 5 days, we had a lot of fun. We all had a bath in "Har ki Pauri", which was most important and washed off our all sins.. 😉
As you can see many people are washing their sins...😜
And then in the evening here (Har ki Pauri) we came to attend the world famous "Ganga Aarti"(worship of Ganga).
Then we planned to visit two ancient temples- Mansa Devi Temple and Chandi Devi Temple here. And these two temples are situated in two mountains either you get there by walking or get it from the rope way.

Footpath to Mansa Devi Mandir
And here's traditional street food is "Aloo tikki" (Spicy Potato), it is oily but it is very tasty that you can never forgot the Aloo Tikki.

And the special thing here is that the Aloo tikki here gives in a special type of leaves which is found only in the mountainous areas like here and people say that by eating aloo tikki in this leaf it tastes more and it enjoys a lot. Isn't it interesting?
The thing here is different, and everybody here must come at least once.
In the next posting we will discuss the experience of travelling in Vrindavan in Journey #3
Thanks
