"Steemit: Your Voice Is Worth Something."
it has approximately been my first 9-hour stay in the steemitnation / steemitfamily - basically the steemit platform and here are my initial two cents:
Scrolling through different contents, blog posts and even trending topics here on Steemit makes me reflect on their constant promise stating "your voice is worth something". But so far, it is quite unfortunate seeing some contents having much more huge amount of upvotes, attention, likes and engagement showing the exact contrary of Steemit's promise. It's kind of sad how real and authentic content creators are overshadowed by merely bot-activated votes and/or content creators. I have nothing against this kind of scheme though, since I have initially observed (and kinda accepted) that it's somehow how Steemit works and is supposed to be played around.
But this post is mainly targeted to those content creators who are still highly motivated to fight their way to the Steemit limelight with their real and authentic content that actually leaves a much bigger impact to the society, that is when they get to be given the attention they deserve. I'd like to tell y'all to keep on creating and curating every content you make no matter how overshadowed and insignificant you feel. Some members in this platform may be taking the easy route to success, but success achieved through lots of sleepless nights thinking of what new content to create and a dashing amount of passion is definitely the sweetest kind of success you'll get to achieve. You'll get there. I'll get there. We will all reach the stage we are all aiming for.
Sometimes the key is constant pressure. Let's pressure ourselves to step up our games and fight mediocrity in content creation. Yes to much more authentic, unfiltered and curated content. Our voice are definitely worth something everything.
