For someone from Sudan\Africa (i am the only one from my country so far), not a native English speaker and because of work not a regular user of steemit, like on daily basis, to reach 500 follower on steemit that means this is a great community and it is really scaling beyond local communities. Take a look at the diversity on Steemit community now, this social media will scale like anything someday.

To be honest when i came to Steemit i thought it will be just temporary community and a phenomena that might go a way soon, i didn't intend to build long term friendship but it came smultinously. Here i met a lot of friends who are nice, caring and have unique personality and ideas, it is interesting and warm community in deed. I realised in first month that this community is here to stay and it connect people in a different way. I also notice that the content on Steemit have high quality than any other social platform, sure mostly because of rewards but unlike Facebook
Thank you for making steemit better place,thank a lot for those who helped me, thank you for any one supported me at anytime in last 8 moths.
It is interesting how this great platform grow so fast in last months. when i came to steemit :
STEEM price was 0.15 to 0.10 USD.
So many people thought it was a scam.
Trader and investors avoided buying STEEM, as they think their money will be distributed to bloggers.
Some people left steemit community because they think it is not fair enough.
There was a lot of conflict and flag war which lead to more leaving the platform.
IT WAS LIKE DARK AGES FOR STEEMIT.

Community grow in faster rate than before
Most those who left steemit for some reason are back
War is over, i didn't see any conflict blog or flag in last 2 months
More talent attracted to steemit, you can see daily poem, art, dancing, musics,,,etc
STEEM price had healthy growth in last moth reflecting healthy platform growth, trader and investor love STEEM now and realised it is potential as Cryptocurrency easy to use before consider as a gas for social platform.
I am very optimistic and excited about STEEMIT future not because of the fact that it is a great tech but because of you, the community behind it.
