Now, your followers will not only know if you have received their message and you have not answered them, but also that you have been looking at pictures for 20 minutes and are still ignoring them.
After this feature appeared in the inbox of many Instagram users, some have shown their dissatisfaction. One of the most repeated complaints is that there are almost no social networks left in which to ignore a contact without knowing it. There are also those who see it from the point of view of the one who sends the messages: there is already another network in which you will feel ignored when they do not answer you.
This feature has been available on WhatsApp for years and, as in this application, Instagram can also be disabled. These are the steps to make your connection time disappear:
- Enter your profile in the application
- Click on the options menu
- In the "configuration" section, deactivate the option "show activity status"
When you deactivate this option, your followers will stop seeing when your last connection was, but they will not be the only ones: you will not be able to see the activity of your followers either. Instead, the time at which the last message in the conversation was sent will appear.
