I have been engrossed with steemit for the past few weeks. The very first things i do upon waking up is checking my feed and blog. Usually, i have an idea of what to write about before i sleep. i usually take the rest to reflect on my thoughts and ideas. So I have been engrossed in steemit for the past weeks, as such, my normal routines has suffered.
See, usually in the past, when i wake up i go to my Linkedin page, surf for like two hours or more, then Facebook. Now for the past weeks, i haven't used Facebook for a lump time of two hours while i spend averagely, 3-5 hours on steemit daily.
Steemit is the first platform that has rewarded me for sharing my thoughts, comments and content. Things that I was already doing on other social platform. Eventually, discovered why i'm addicted to steemit. Here’s why;
- Gaining from other people’s experiences on Steemit
I enjoy reading content while looking for quality posts to upvote. At the same time, I am also learning what it takes to make an effective post that would be accepted by the community. As a fact, in my first four weeks using steemit I’ve learned so much about the steemit community and its platform; from steemit to steem chat, from discord to streemian. This is so engrossed to a point where I stay up at night doing this.
- Consistency of post
Following the advice, consistency is the key to building your reputation through quality content and that takes hard work. In order to write something that is worth reading, you have to put quality time, effort and thought into the process.
- Constantly checking reactions and outcome of posts
If you recently posted a content, you know within the first few hours of putting up the post, reactions you’re getting. I don’t know about you, but when I put up a new post, I’m constantly checking the status of new votes, friends, comments and resteems.
All in all, it’s been an exciting one month of active blogging in being a part of this community. Although I have been having some tired days where you feel blank and practically unable to do other life's work, it’s been an overall entertaining and rewarding experience.
I'm sure I'm not the only one. Anyone else feel like sharing how their routine has been shaken to the core in the steemit community?
So how many content do you post in a day? How many hours do you spend on steemit? How long have you been on steemit and what is the best aspect of steemit that you like?
