It's been 365 days of socializing on the blockchain!
I cannot reiterate more how thankful I am for finding steemit. It is a life changer, game changer for me.
I have learned a lot over the past 365 days - blockchain, cryptocurrencies, diverse cultures and a lot more. I am not sure whether I could have learned about these if not for steemit.
There is a vast array of people I have met along the way and the interactions have always been great and amusing.
Over the past 365 days, I have reached rep 60.9 and accumulated 900SP and delegated a couple of hundred... This may not be a lot in comparison to my peers who came with me around the same time. However, I am still proud that I have managed to keep active on the platform despite my very busy "real-life" activities.

Consistency is Key.
There may be times when we feel demotivated when payouts are low for posts that we spent hours or even days to work on. But I guess, I am now way past that. Large payouts, although lovely, is now only secondary. For me, steemit is a great tool for me to express myself, share my thoughts and even learn new this here and there.
If you find yourself lurking on other social media platforms for hours and hours, step back and reflect. What do you get? Are you even incentivized a single cent there? Then turn around and check your steemit account, the intelligent interactions and decide where your precious time must be worth more.
Rewards.
This platform has touched my heart in many ways - I have seen how many kind-hearted steemians have come together in support of people in need. They did not have to, but they still did.
For me, to be know that I can somehow show support to others even in my littlest way is rewarding enough.
Come for the rewards, stay for the community.
Believe me when I say this is true.
Steemit is so far the awesome-est place I have ever been on the world wide web!
