Usually my Morning routine has a little dosage of Youtube Videos which I like to watch as I wake up. But today Youtube was nowhere to be found. My smartphone just kept giving me the error saying Try again. It was when I logged in my Personal Computer that I found that Youtube was indeed down.
So the error that was shown on my Personal Computer looked like this.
After watching this I thought something might be wrong with my Network settings so I started dabbling a little bit. Then I checked something called Is the Website Down? tracker which shows if a Website is down for everyone or only for me.
As you can see it says Youtube was down for only me. But I took the investigation one step further. I looked into twitter and saw no Updates from Youtube themselves but once I typed in Youtube+ Errors I was greeted with a lot of people showing their discomfort.
Now the thing that caught me by surprise is the fact that
Why was the Tracking websites showing us the wrong information?
Were they paid to do so?
These questions came to my mind as clearly I was not the only one suffering from this crash, many peoples were dissatisfied. Now what actually happened will be very hard for me to know but what I can think is that Youtube tried to do damage control in this case.
