We're introducing TeamMalaysia, a collaborative initiative by Steemians for Steemians of Malaysia. A small effort in the grander scope of growing the Steem's blockchain ecosystem.
There is a huge potential for Malaysia in the writing space that is not reflected properly the userbase of Steemit from this country. The general blogging/vlogging scene of Malaysia is a thriving one which is why there is such potential to see Steemit Malaysia as a part of if not the leader in this space.
Who is TeamMalaysia?
We are a continuously growing team of Steamians in Malaysia being led by and yours truly (
), with the firm backing behind the scene by the team running Curie.
Our core mission
We aim to grow the Malaysian Steemian Community, be it writers, curators; even if possibly, Investors. As of now, Traffic to Steemit.com from Malaysia is mostly made up of scattered "lone-rangers" who came across this platform mostly on their own, who may or may not be aware of a community around them in the physical space. Our mission is to act as a catalyst to the already-organic growth of userbase from Malaysia.
What we do
Our "beta phase" for now is to onboard and retain new users coming in whether established content creators or opportunity seekers. has done great work in his First, Second, and Third event.
We are looking to host more of such physical event, and will welcome and aid in any efforts to make future meetups possibles, even if independent to TeamMalaysia.
We've also set up an online forward base on Facebook for people to gather easily online, before they make their migration onto Steemit. We are also currently using the tag #TeamMalaysia for post submitted by our member.
On Steemit, TeamMalaysia supports each other with post curation and coaching. With more activities to be rolled out as our capacity increases. If you are new to Steemit and hail from Malaysia, TeamMalaysia is here to help you. However it is subject to rules as you can read in 's intro and guideline post.
An Opportunity for growth
This is a golden opportunity for Steemians in Malaysia. If you are looking to grow yourself not only in terms of know-hows but also your engagements and connection, be a part of this initiatives. If you are need of any help or advice at all, feel free to hit us up ( &
).
If you are somewhat new to Steemit, please take a moment or two to go through my 2-part post covering some evergreen advice for Minnows (newcomers). Of which will soon be enforced especially in TeamMalaysia to raise the quality of which TeamMalaysia abide by.
