I think this experiment is flawed because it takes the human element out of the equation. Many whales vote because they have a stake in the platform and actually look at content they think can help it. and
just use bots most of the time to enforce their will. I think taking the human element out of the platform is a grievous mistake. Whales that still want to reward content creators they like can do it, but they have to do it in ways that don't upset the bully's. I know many people are afraid to say anything against this because they depend on the platform and do not want to receive any kind of retribution.
