I was reading some posts on Discord this morning and some of them made some sense. We all wonder why Ned and the guys that started and owns Steemit or whatever, never really gets into it when people scream at him about this and that. He does not really care Steemit is up and running and all of us little fish could leave now and he would not care he would just upvote himself and make money and then power down.
If this was not so why does he repeatedly deny witnesses access to steem slack which is mandatory for the development of things on the Steem blockchain. He no longer cares about Steemit! Steem is a pretty robust cryptocurrency now and does it really need the platform Steemit? That is why Ned and others that created this platform does not care anymore. If people leave it is not a problem for them, like I said before, they would just upvote themselves and the power down and continue to make money and have no worries then. No one to say I need this or that, no one to holler look at this person or that person and telling them they need to do something about it.
There is no need in screaming at Ned to fix something as he does not and will not care, most of the witnesses care and are trying to fix some problems but are getting stopped lots of times by Ned denying them access to something they need to do their job. Not saying all whales on Steemit do not care, as there are some that really do, most of them do not, they just upvote themselves and make themselves more accounts and just keep making more money for themselves and do not really care about us little fish at all. When was the last time a whale just came along and upvoted one of your posts? If truth be told, we are just lunch to them. I do not know much but this is what I have picked up on in the last few months. Go ask a witness what is going on and if he is a good witness he will tell you the truth. There is my rant for today!

I am not saying to quit Steemit, do not give up. I am saying make and build communities and friends and build Steemit up for ourselves and enjoy talking, sharing ideas and making connections with each other. Forget about the whales and be here for the friends and the connections you have made on Steemit. We all may be small fish now but just keep posting and curating, we all will grow and help to support each other as communities. I hope everyone has a great day/night, whatever it is in your neck of the woods. Best wishes to everyone!
