As of lately I decided to invest some money into my steemit account and have been playing around with the steemit services to find out what will be profitable and what is not, so I can share my experience with the rest of the people that would like to dedicate themselves to steemit and try to make some profit off of their efforts in blogging.
So from all experimenting so far I want to make parallel between two type of services upvote purchases and resteem purchases. Unfortunately as a begging blogger in here you need a way to make yourself seen and stand out and to see some results for your effort and doing it without any help or investment can prove to be a hard task at best.
So, without further ado ... let me get to the point!
There are many accounts that offer you to resteem your account to thousands of users to get your 20, 30, 50 upvotes for the "bargain deal" price of 0.5 sbd, 1 sbd, 2 sbd ... And you would think oh wow, why not I am getting upvotes, I am getting exposure and this way somebody will notice the awesome job I am doing and all the efforts I am putting. Well, sorry to break it to you, but people do rarely go to their feeds especially people following resteem services because they are getting something or are offering something to be part of somebody's curration trail. And the votes you are getting, well they will be 0 USD anyways ... ALL of them ... because even if some of those people have the SP for their vote to be worth something, they will power it down to be worth nothing so they can "currate" more votes without depleting their voting power. So yeah using resteeming services is pouring your "money" down the drain
Using upvote bots on the other hand is something that can really help you in the long run. That doesn't mean you don't need to put effort in your articles but if you want to see your work paying off at least until you establish yourself and have a sound following, then using upvote services is something you probably should consider. Steem bot tracker is probably you best bet, as there you can see an automated list of bots, you can see how much an upvote will eventually net you and you get good value for you SBD because not only you are getting an upvote that in the end will get you back most of your SBDs but you are also getting steem power which in turn increase your voting power as well, so almost for free you are increasing the value of your profile and you increase your visibility, because the higher your article is valued the bigger the chance of more people seeing it and then of course if it's a good article the exposure will help you establish yourself.
I am sorry if this is something you already new but then again I am trying to help people that are trying to figure things on their own as I was doing by trial and error. I found out certain things work for me and other don't and it might be the case that it works differently for somebody else but I wanted to share my insight so far.
The last thing I want to share is you can start by writing a good article, promoting it on facebook, telegram, discord and wherever you can think of for free, hoping to get some exposure and your first cents then you can start investing your cents into bots and multiplying them but the process is slow ... VERY SLOW. If you are serious about steemit and you want to ivnest in your article writing skills you should invest some money into purchasing SBD, as much as you can afford, without breaking the bank, and then investing this SBD smart. It can speed up things immensely. At least I can see a big change. So while this is not a financial advise this is my honest opinion on what can help you perform better in steemit :) Take it or leave it.
