Because with all of the $$$$ Hive account@ned has raked in with the Steem they've sold (MILLIONS $$$ worth), they have plenty of funds to make this site what it should be.

Now, obviously all of that $ has made them lazy so it's up to us to ensure they use it properly and not on hookers and blow (like they probably are).
