I noticed that many women get upvotes just because of their gender. Some people upvote them because they want to be noticed by an attractive woman, some people upvote because they think that posts by women are likely to attract more women to the site, some people upvote them because they think sex sells and a minority upvote them because they genuinely like the content.
But really, when women see this, they get annoyed. They think the upvotes come from thirsty males and get a bad impression of the site. What kind of users is this sort of content really attracting? Lonely males with little to contribute to the site. They're just here to look at boobs and maybe score a date. Is this really the kind of userbase we want?
So please, stop upvoting women just because they are women. Look at the content they produce, not how they look. It's not good for anyone.
