How exciting I've been on Steemit for a year today!
Steemit has flourished over the last year with things changing that it was more user friendly, more users, people being able to share their knowledge.

Steemit has grown with July last year being where it started to really take off.
I'm really glad for Steemit being the platform it is, I wish i was able to understand the true potential of Steemit than waiting a year to under stand it.
For me the way I see steemit is a Digital Basking Scrapbook - I know weird
Why I see it like that is a Scrapbook we share only our best work, our best story's that we want to preserve, Steemit being build on the block-chain where your posts are documented and there forever.
Why basking?
When you bask you get donations, on Steemit you get upvotes, it's not an income it's a donation of generosity from other community members that like what you have to say.
Some people make more money basking than working, they do it because they enjoy it, Steemit is like that, people write, share because they enjoy doing it.
Could you make a living from Steemit?
I wouldn't go leaving your job on the very first day of signing up, you might be able to over time, you need to have a following, write from the heart be knowledgeable and passionate in what you write about.
There are a few Steemians that make a living from Steemit and cryptocurrency's it's like anything else it's a learning curve if your new to this.
Tips
- Be consistent
- Ask questions if you need help
- Follow the quick get started guide
- Enjoy yourself
- Remember what you write stays on the block-chain, put your best foot forward
- Learn from every post you do, keep going
- Your Steemit account will go up and down due to the market
I've learnt so much from Steemit it aligned with the journey I was on trying to find information on how to live more sustainable, it made it more easier to come on steemit to find healthier food posts, living off the grid, DIY many more subjects from people you can actually ask questions and chat with it is more personal than buying or reading a book and not being able to connect with the writer to ask questions.
Made a few of the delicious recipe's here on Steemit, which has given me the confidence to start playing with recipes after learning what tastes work together.
Your hardest reader is going to be yourself, don't be hard on yourself when your first start you'll grow as you go along in your journey.
Finding yourself if you've been lost on your journey has been an amazing feeling, that is something that ADSactly (introducing me to Steemit and Crypto) and Steemit was able to shape for me, learning things I was stuck on.
Steem on Steemit Thanks for the 1st year experience and too many more...
Thanks for stopping by, have a Fabulous Day/Evening!
