Hello friends... how’s it going on Steemit?
Wonderful start to the New Year for me, now that I have 2000 followers on Steemit :)
2017 was a kickass year for all of us Steemians. Being a rider myself I got to travel a lot in 2017, the past year was good for me. 2017 was a year that showered me with happiness, my efforts started paying off, as I had joined Steemit in June 2017, which is just 7 months ago and looking back at the journey so far...all I can say is, it was fantastic.

It was a huge boost for me since I got more than 400 Upvotes and a lotta comments from the whole community.

How did I get 2000 followers?
The biggest thing is interaction, quality, and consistency.
I also make an effort to learn from others. I ask questions when possible, and implement strategies that I see working for them.
Make sure you are following people and interacting with them. Respond to their comments and upvote their photos. And do not just use cliche responses, but be genuine.
Definitely stay away from “follow me,” or “check out my page” type comments.
And, I always make sure to be myself. Post quality content, that way people respond better when you allow your personality to shine through and don’t just treat them as someone to get likes or follows.
