I have been working on encryptions these days
I have noticed this thing. which is when you sign up for steemit.com account
they offer you a random password when creating an account .. why they don't let you
create your own random password and use that??
Maybe something fishy!!
looks like their 52 bits long password is random, but is it really random??
I think no its not random
When you will ask them is it random? they will say YES
they will tell you its 50 bits long password. with Small and Capital letters along with numbers
that if you reverse engineer or brute force it will take million years to break.
But What if they have the FUNCTION that can easily reverse it(The password which they offer you saying its Random). and that's how they want to control your accounts
other than KEEPING YOUR PASSWORDS SAFE ON THEIR SERVERS :p just in case you want to do something they don't like
and they can kick your ASS
AFTER MY ACCOUNT IS HACKED
I am worried about all other guys who have thousands of dollars in their accounts.
because if they store your passwords, and offer you RANDOM passwords that they can easily crack
I am worried for you. and i don't like it when they say its decentralized and still they control what passwords you choose
to make an account it makes me a little worried. Because if they can do it. someone else can do it also
