Here is a new article shedding light on Steemit and how Twitter and Facebook hasn't gotten the memo. Maybe they will when it is the only option they have, to remain relevant. I think with bigger adoption of cryptocurrencies, more people will join networks like Steemit. If content creators were getting paid in fiat there would have already been a mad exodus from Facebook and the rest. Steemit was definitely thinking ahead of the curve. It brought the revolution at exactly the right time. The rest of the social web can only pay catch up sooner than later. Article linked below.
