The first place I usually visit on steemit is my news feed as I know that is where I am most likely to see quality content from the people that I have chosen to follow. So, it goes, if you are in my feed because I follow you then you are much more likely to get an upvote.
What's more, I also hang out in the post-promotion channel quite often and find myself conversing and upvoting with the authors who I like their content or I like their attitude. Its a very positive environment and has undoubtedly helped to grow my followers.
So, I figured why not try a little "resteem" experiment?
In a manner similar to guilds and trails, I am suggesting "Team Resteem" in an effort to help each other out and get more eyeballs across our posts. The resteem function could be a very powerful tool if used correctly.
It's quite simple, we use the resteem to boost our readership but do it in a way that isn't spammy or counter-productive.
Now, I try to post every day, and sometimes up to 4 times daily. That means I post somewhere between 7 and 28 times a week roughly. I am sure there are others like me. So it's easy:
TEEM RESTEEM:
" I pledge to resteem 1 of your posts, and you resteem one of mine".
Now, in order to make sure that its managed correctly I think there should be some guidelines. For example, I post mainly about travel, food, cars and photography so I'm not going to share something completely odd that doesn't fit. So here is what I propose.
If you meet these guidelines:
- 100 + followers
- 10+ posts/week
Then comment "resteem" in the comments, and I pledge to resteem one of your articles at my discretion in the next week, and you will do the same for me.
To ensure that it doesn't get overloaded, I will limit this first trial run to 7 , so the first 7 steemers to comment are in.
Who knows? It may be great or may be not, but if you never try you never know. Would love to hear others thoughts about this idea also.
Go "Team Steem" !
