Hey Hive account@markpu, great points. I personally feel that a lot of people could benefit from using Steemit as their go-to social platform... especially those who have struggled with building a following (or earning ad revenue) on other sites. Does it need to go mainstream? No, not really. I don't think that is necessary for the success of Steemit. But for those of us who have a following on other social sites and want to "share the love" with those people, then yeah I think it's appropriate to share with them.
