Great post. I discovered Steemit the other day and was thinking the exact same thing. Broad exposure to cryptocurrencies via social media could make them go mainstream. Personally I don't see cryptocurrencies replacing fiat, but rather complimenting fiat and forcing government currencies to be more honest.
