I looked up some details online:
The very first accounts on the Steemit blockchain were created on 24 March 2016. There were three accounts: Hive account@admin, Hive account@dark and Hive account@nxt1.

And then 3 seconds later, 4 more accounts were created: Hive account@dantheman, Hive account@nxt, Hive account@nxt2, and Hive account@administrator.

Mr.Steemit Hive account@ned came 7 days after that.
Steemit has never stopped growing from appeoximately july 2016.

Now they have 880K registered users on Steemit, with an average of 175K active users per month.

       Happy Birthday, Steemians!

Lets walk the way of Steem together to a new era. We do not need Mr. Zuckerberg, this is what we need STEEM ON STEEMERS and let's make more history!
