Bitconnect has not been up a whole year quite yet. I think it was November 2016 when it started. Although it is close to a year, BTC has risen so much that we haven't seen a correction so high that it would have hurt a "Ponzi". I wish the best to you, but there have been so many other sites like this, in the past. This one just took a good model, and the site operators have not become greedy enough to say "Let's fold up shop because we are (Rich/Going to get caught/in jail/etc)."
