Many Steemit members who came aboard May or June are experiencing their first serious correction in the STEEM cryptocurrency. As well, several other blockchain assets are getting hit with severe and ugly volatility. When will this madness end?
While I certainly don't want to make light of "paper losses," we also have to keep in mind that bitcoin, ethereum, and other cryptos cannot possibly keep moving higher without correcting at some point. Having both bulls and bears in the markets is what makes those markets healthy.
Additionally, we are far from full integration, whether we're talking about prime blockchain assets or the Steemit network. As soon as we achieve this integration, bitcoin, ethereum, and the majors will be off to the races. And if you thought that their moves are massive, wait until you see what will happen with the alt-coins like STEEM -- the law of small numbers will work astounding miracles before your very eyes!
But to accrue the greatest benefit from blockchain integration, we must acquire our stack now, as this is when it is the cheapest. If we stack when STEEM is at $3 or $4, we're going uphill with a three or four- fold premium.
Indeed, while you may focus on the pain in the cryptocurrency markets now, there will be a time when you will kick yourself for not buying more today. I've had this experience more times than I care to admit.
Accumulation should be your focus now, not the pain!
