Since SteemIt is so new, i was thinking it would be cool if you could buy and sell shares for tags on the internal market like in the early days of the Dot-Com boom! This would add yet another way for users to make money. But on top of that it would also add another way for people to invest and it will increase the very low liquidity!
Example implementation:
- There is only a limited supply of shares for each tag
- Tags that don't exist yet can be created on the marketplace and a blockchain entry will be made with the username as creator. All shares will be given to the creator.
- Users can create bids & asks for shares with STEEM or SBD
- Posting rewards will get distributed between author, curators, commenters and tag shareholders
