This post was inspired by a blog post created by @Kaylinart
I'm generally a big fan of her posts. Unfortunately this one was rather annoying to see on my home page and so I voiced my opinion on her blog post. She was not happy with me calling her out and so she began down voting my posts to hide what I had to say.
Am I wrong to have voiced my opinion?
What about Steemits terms of service?
Kaylin says she is selling merchandise to promote Steemit. That's great I'm all for that. Promote Steemit! Be unique/creative and come up with a really cool design. Don't just add a Steemit logo to a shirt to make money because you have nearly 3000 followers. Be better than that.
If her goal is to promote Steemit then why does she not mention it at all in the blog post? I'm sure people would "support" her if it was for a good cause. Apparently this is not for a good cause, she would have said so. That's what people do.
To me it seems clear that she is promoting clothing, not Steemit.
I'm currently working on building a platform of my own, to actually promote Steemit. The entire beauty blogging community will exist because of Capital Pink. Creativity can do so much more than slapping a logo on a tshirt ever will.
