At its initial roll-out, the Feeds section has been a sight for an eye sore for me.
Here is a list why I love the new #steemit Feeds:
- My Reputation Level is very visible with my user name. This is transparency and a great way to show one's own market value to the community. Not to mention the blue background, which is one of my favorite colors ;-)
- The number of followers I have. This indicates how influential I am to the community and how valuable my presence is. One very good suggestion by other users, though, is for us to click this info and see who are following us and in turn may decide to follow them back.
- The number of posts. I can actually keep track of my activity as I don't have to count how many posts I have submitted. I would suggest to get this number to be more specific like the number of blogs I wrote and how many time I made a comment/reply.
- The people I follow. Again the number says so many things. This also signifies that I care what others have to say, too. And, it's good to learn from others. In my opinion, this number should exceed the number of followers I have.
- The feeds itself. The feeds that I see are the blog posts of the people I follow. I am not sure if this will change anytime soon. But for now, I love the idea that I can see ONLY the things I choose to see by following my "people".
Looking forward to greater and better #steemit. There is no way but UP for this great social media community!
HOOORRRAYY!
