Too many people have been murdered as a result and the people need to decide for themselves in a Referendum.
Background checks are a stupid way to avoid the real issues.
The NRA should not dictatate policies on gun control.
What the people need is the right to vote on a "Referendum on Gun Control"
That means doing away with the second ammendment and replacing it with a Referendum.
Also all assault weapons should be made illegal and have them all destroyed.
