Hi all ; well my time has come . . .
My picture appears in some dictionaries under the definition of Procrastinator. I have done many things to learn here on Steemit and I have learned a lot and every day I learn something new.
One thing I have been procrastinating about is trying to incorporate pictures into my articles. Well my very next post is going to be designed as a revenue piece containing pictures. I often do opinion posts about the societal value of Professional Politicians, or how hard it is to find a home maintenance contractor . . .
Guess what ; people have their own lives , they want to be distracted , entertained or gain something of perceived worth such as knowledge. I have been spying upon some other people in Steemit and analyzing how they seek to craft a post. People want to escape the mundane and rubbish of daily life , in short no one wants to hear opinions relating to the integrity of professional politicians. You need to try and wow or inspire people to create useful connections ! ! !
Some core elements that should be included in most posts . . .
Pictures ; simply you must break up words with pictures , no one wants a wall of words unless it is a technical knowledge post.
Positive ; these people are never complaining , they are always helpful, reassuring and upbeat. I think most people reading this can find enough complainers around them without coming to Steemit to hear negativity.
On topic ; these people get on , throw out their message and stay on track. Never do they try and do three things all at once , everything is aimed to support other material within the post. It is all about selling the value of the intended message.
These PROFESSIONALS are just that , when I spy upon them ; they are here to do their intended role and nothing stops that mission. When I scroll their posts there are almost no irrelevant comments. Even when they say Thank You to someone sometimes they will linkup something extra. I call these people professional simply because they are long term bloggers or crafters or something that has taught them how to time manage their marketing ! ! !
In fact I think these professionals would even smile if they saw some of the amateurish suggestions I make herein my college course. Mainly because they have progressed so much further in skills . . .
But I am learning and I am sharing and hopefully we are working together to improve ourselves as people, so find your niche and work at carving out a name for yourself as a useful steemian : )
