Part of my desire in wanting to have or to eat food is that I cannot cook my favorite recipes anymore. I just missed cooking just any simple dish that I was making for our dinner table everyday and if were easy to get fattened up during my cooking years well I will be fat because of my love for food and cooking dishes.
It really takes years in order to learn cooking. Some people are just not for cooking food, they are the ones that are hard-headed and just wants the food to adjust to them by itself without them doing the necessary things to make some improvements. No matter how good the ingredients were, if the cook will do a bad job, you can never get a better dish that you can enjoy. You are just better off buying your own food.
Trial and error is what it takes in cooking. It just means when you get an error, then you have to learn about it. For example, if your dish gets too salty, then next time put less seasonings when you cook or maybe add more liquid or ingredients to offset the taste. Some non-cooks just does their thing over and over without ever changing or doing something about their dish with of course same unsatisfactory taste.
I can't cook now so sometimes I just make my parents buy some sauteed noodles near our home or some rice gruel. For some special occasion maybe some roasted chicken that can be bought a few blocks near the highway. More often they just buy from 7-11 store because they offer rice dishes there.
What I always crave is just a simple rice bowl dish that I am always having in my dialysis days. It is because it has some gravy in itt and I like the taste too. Dialysis just makes a person so hungry because sugars and protein compounds are also being taken out on the cleaning process thereby making the patient want to eat which also depends on the situation of the patients as well.
