I believe in Steemit!
Yesterday I wrote a post asking the community what they think the best investment is at the moment, and I was very surprised to see not that many people said Steem Power. I am a firm believer in steemit and think it is currently the best investment opportunity out there right now. Here are the main reasons why:
It is social media!
Social media is big business! With Facebook being the number 3 most used website on the internet behind google and YouTube. When social media is done correctly, it takes the world by storm. I believe that Steemit is a better service the Facebook in many respects, and it will only get better with time.
No adverts!
Advertisement is obnoxious! Even if you are one of us who uses Adblocks and other such techniques to avoid adverts, it is only superficially stopping the problem. Facebook still sells all your information to advertising companies. Steemit, on the other hand does not. There is no shadowy corporation spying on your posts and selling information when using Steemit.
Getting payed!
Pretty obvious one here, instead of the platform making an absolute fortune off the backs of it's users, Steemit allows you to get paid for your time. A pretty big deal in my opinion!
We are still in beta!
Steemit is still in it's infancy, we only have 200k ish followers! As the website improves and adds new features, more and more people will hear about Steemit and join. This will mean that Steem as a currency will be in much high demand, which in turn will raise the price.
Steem is cheap at the moment
Steem took a rather massive his these last few days, now is a great time to buy, when Steemit gets more traction you can bet your bottom dollar the price will be higher than it is now, and if we are to believe the likes of 
Conclusion
I believe in crypto as a whole, however I am most interested by crypto that has a use outside of just being a currency. Steemit, BitShares and from what I have read about EOS has an actual purpose, which in and of itself create additional value. These are the sort of projects I get the most excited about and the ones I believe have a bright future. I believe now is an excellent time to be investing in Steem, and I hope you are all making the most of this 'sale'. I want to thank the people who commented on yesterday's post, I got some interesting view points, some I agree with and some I don't, but sometimes getting opposing opinions is the smartest thing to do.
