When will Steemit become the hot new Social Media? When will it surpass Instagram, Snapchat and Facebook?

As it currently stands:
Steemit 11,405 active users over the last 7 days
Facebook had 1.09 billion daily active users on average for March 2016
300 million + users daily on Instagram
150 million daily active users on Snapchat, recently surpassing Twitter which comes in at 140 million DAU
And just for fun Pokemon Go has roughly 9.5 million daily active users

My thoughts:

It will become a top dog in social media when celebrities/famous individuals join. But how will that shape the payout structures? If Kim Kardashian begins to post on here you better believe her posts will rake in the big bucks and the days of the average Joe being listed on the trending page will be over.

Like it or not the Kardashians, Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, The Fat Jewish and many others have an insane online presence and have been monetizing sharing their lives with others for years now. They actually do make money from posting on social media, a dream to me until I discovered Steem!

Here's where it gets interesting. .. When musicians, makeup artists, professional athletes realize the opportunity within Steem don't you think they will take over the high paying posts. They already employ teams to make this happen for them, now a simple post on Steem could generate more than an advertisement on Instagram.

This could be a huge opportunity for Taylor Swift, who doesn't even allow her music to be placed on spotify, because of some IP bullshit.. If she posted it to Steemit she could see an immediate response.. and her favorite twinkling DOLLAR SIGNS This WILL REVOLUTIONIZE the way the music industry rewards and pays artists!

I could see many people hating on the joining in of celebs, (as there has already been much post envy) but what do these big names have-- power in numbers. And to me that is very valuable. I don't want Steem to become a members only "circle jerk" club where we only talk about how successful Steem is or bitcoin, blockchain things.

I want to see this develop into the way the world posts online.

My point is more users creates more demand for steem which will could drive the price higher.. and I am all for that!

Let's just take a look at the following Mrs. Kardashian West has created for herself:
Insta: 77.5 million
Facebook: 28.8 million
Twitter 46.8 million
Snapchat: doesn't allow this information to be seen but after the most recent drama between Kanye, Taylor and Kim I'd imagine it's somewhere around her instagram following.

My message is simple: I am rooting for Steem to break the internet! I am rooting for more active users than the beast, Facebook! I want to be swimming in a pool of whales, dolphins and manatees with you all.

I will use 25% of this posts earnings to try and get someone with over 5 million Instagram users to join Steemit
