But what would happen if Minnows did the same thing? Say there was a random Minnow lottery, where everyone could enter (if a minnow) to be drawn for a special prize.
The participants would have to have good content, but if they pass the test, could make some steem.
I purpose a Steemit lotto for a good cause, those that participate have the chance to earn a lot of fame, and some $.
If we could get half of all the minnows to join in, Approx 250K-300K each vote weighing in around $0.001-$0.003 each, we could make a difference to some Minnows....
So here it is, my idea: A whale ran, minnow only, upvote lotto......
Only the Minnows will upvote (unless we find a generous Whale), once a day, to one lucky winner at 100%.
Take into fact all those upvotes going to one user, with good content......
250,000 votes at $0.001 minimum = $250 worth of votes..... but what if the average is $0.01 per vote? $2500 worth of votes!
At only the cost of 1 100% upvote per day? I'd say it would be worth the chance :-)
So all you whales out there, yeah that means you! Maybe you should be building something like this?
