Only heard about this today, the new & upcoming release of Kodi 18 Leia, will allow people to use the platform as an emulator to play classic games.
I use the kodi system via a small box that cost £30 or $40 off eBay, why? because I live in Poland and speak English, so I like some films to watch occasionally, and my daughter also likes to watch English tv.
The best thing on the box for movies is a simple add on called covenant, easily found online, now though the box is going to become, more of an all round entertainment system, allowing me/you to add a rom module and emulator, so we can play classic console games like sonic the hedgehog, super mario plus all the other classics, like everything to do with add ons on kodi, you will read scary reports of people being hunted down, for piracy of ancient games and movies.
So you pays your money and you makes the choice, add on what you want, or what you are not scared to add, for me it is one of the best £30 I have ever spent, and it has kept my daughter happy for years now.
The legality of watching new movies on this box here where I live is nothing compared to the UK, here nobody cares, so for me it is not a problem, I even watch Premier league football on it, though as I am here and not in the UK, I am not taking any income off anyone, as it is not broadcast here, and there is no way I could get to a game live anyway.
Now though we can up the game literally and add some games to the magic little box.
Steem on and stay awesome, peace and love.
