They say the apple doesn't fall very far from the tree.
When eos came out, there was a lot of buzz about it having a lot of steem code in its system.
This is of cause natural, seeing as dan larimer is the creator of both blockchains and therefore would code in a similar way.
What many people didn't realize however, was that just like the eosio software, steem, is also a software.
If this disclaimer page is anything to believe, it means that :
There is an open-source software, with which the steem Blockchain was built.
The steemit company can make changes without telling us.
This should theoretically mean that the software can also ve used to build other blockchains too if I am correct.
This is mind blowing if true because thats one of the selling point of the entire eos platform.
Can I take the steem software and build a whole new blockchain?
