@#$%! I dropped my laptop!!! Yes I did that thing that should never ever ever be done! The moment I heard that sound, I did not even need to look back to know what happened.
So what happened? I was sitting on the couch doing replies when my brother called me over to play League of Legends for him. He asked me because he had to go drive but once you are in a game of League you can't just pause of go afk, if you do so you get 20min bans for 5 queues.
I then stood up and started to walk over to his pc, I put my laptop beside me on the couch. This is when I stepped forward and...
I took a knee to the ground as I knew exactly what just happened. I slowly moved my head around to have a look, as my brother ran into the room shouting "what did you just do" he looked at me "OH SNAP!"
I slowly picked up my laptop, you know how the do it in movies when they pick up someone who had just died. Well that is exactly what I did. I looked at it and sadness came over me... My LOVE had just died...
I thought to myself "how will my life go on without you?". I hadn't even thought about steemit yet, but I loved my laptop. Her buttons were soft on my fingers making typing a magical experience. She was fast just how I liked her, I had looked after her so well that she would still be running for years to come. She had a 4 second boot up making life so easy. I met her 3 years ago and she has always been there for me... And now she is gone.
As you can see there is really no damage to her. Just thought I should add some dramatic effect to what happened. My laptop fell on its side about 30cm away from the floor. Not a far drop at all. The screen did not break and it was still on when I picked it up. So I really thought nothing had happened to it. Till I pressed some buttons and everything was hanging.
I switched her off and back on again...

I would like to call this one "BLACK SCREEN OF DEATH" especially if all your steemit password keys are saved on it. Lucky for me I had back ups on a USB... which was missing... for months now... I thought it was on one of the others that weren't missing. JUST MY LUCK RIGHT?
When all seemed lost my Father said I sent him a few keys. I sent him my posting key... So looking at the bright side, I can still post while I try get the Hard Drive fixed or get the data off.
Bonus Tip: Never do what I just did.
