According to a press release published yesterday, AT&T joins the other 20,000 businesses already using BitPay and starts accepting crypto for their services. The second paragraph of the press release has this interesting statement:
“We’re always looking for ways to improve and expand our services,” said Kevin McDorman, vice president, AT&T Communications Finance Business Operations. “We have customers who use cryptocurrency, and we are happy we can offer them a way to pay their bills with the method they prefer.”
What does this means? It means that you can now pay your internet bill in Bitcoin. BitPay was already working with companies like Microsoft, Virgin or Shopify.
Adoption is here.
