2 days ago, I posted a short piece about the size of the rewards pool, which, at that time, it looked like this:

And here's how it looks at the moment of writing:
In absolute value (STEEM, that is), the rewards pool grew with 7,000, or 1%, over the course of the last two days.
This may be caused by any of the following:
- less posting activity on the platform (there is not enough content to be voted upon)
- less voting activity on the platform (there are enough posts, but people are not voting as often as they did, hence not allocating rewards)
- people are not withdrawing their rewards (they became inactive on the platform during the last 10 days window, thus leaving their rewards unclaimed)
My hunch is on number two.
Whatever the reason, the pie is just bigger. Just sayin'.
