After quite a bit of tinkering, I finally integrated the comments payouts in Steem.Supply. I also took the opportunity to start a small refactoring (not finished yet) as the codebase grows. According to my tests, all calculations are correctly done, but, as usual, I could greatly use a few more pairs of eyes. I also added a bit of animation, now that we have not one, but two charts to display.
As I was testing various accounts, I noticed that many of them have a very different rewards structure: some accounts are barely making anything by posting, but they recoup on comments, while others are doing great on posts but not too much interested in commenting.
One of the charts I'm planning to implement based on this is a percentage of revenues coming from comments / posts, I think it would be interesting to watch this metric for various accounts.
The changelog:
- introduced a new transport layer to the SteemAPI library,
websocket, as an alternative to the basecurl - added comments rewards to the overall payout data
- added tab-based navigation for posts and comments
- added a separate chart for comments payout
- added basic animation to charts
- bumped version to beta 0.1.5
Looking forward to your comments, suggestions and criticism.
