I will usually throw a couple SBD into up-vote bots, not necessarily for the profit motive, but more to at least give the appearance that my posts are doing well. Occasionally I do make a couple bucks doing it, so it's sort of like the Vegas slot machines - they let you win just enough to keep you pulling the lever...

Now after many, many times using up-vote bots, and for the first time ever, the Hive account@hellowhale bot didn't give a vote, didn't reply to my messages, and didn't refund my payment. It's been 5 days since it happened and I have left several messages on their last post, so far with no reply.

I guess its time to call em out in a post...

I think it was actually my fault - I sent Steem instead of SBD, and to top it off, I didn't send the correct amount. None the less, they should refund the payment, my fault or not.

I left two messages "so far" and will probably leave another tomorrow...

It appears that i'm not the only one though, there are a couple other messages in their last post basically stating the same issue I had. I don't know if the others have received replies or refunds, and I haven't messaged any of them to find out - so I wont screen shot their messages until I find out...
