Promoting Steemit & Lightsaber Battles @ the Sunday Night Portland Drum Circle + Team PDX! (2 Videos)

I found Hive account@ganjafarmer promoting Steemit hardcore at last night's drum circle. A sign bearing the Steemit name & both logos was hand crafted and placed at the entrance of the event, so everyone walking by could see this demonstration. The sign had space for other Steemians that came by to write their names on it, so we could all connect online (I have since followed everyone on that list). Hive account@ganjafarmer was out there pitching Steemit to people like he was running a campaign. He even had a grill with hot food he was giving to anyone with a Steemit account! I think he also convinced a few people to join while I was there. I do not think I was much help however, as I was super tired last night from all the work I have been doing lately, so I decided to help support this cause on here.

Hive account@ganjafamer even went a step further and started the Hive account@teampdx project (Team Portland). The account was created to, in his words "help everybody in the Portland Oregon area grow and network with more Oregonians, and evolve to eventually support even more activities for the good of the community." The drum circle was epic as always, and there were more unique features to it this week. A carnival was going on downtown in the background, so there are even more colored lights than usual, including a lit up flashing ferris-wheel! The real highlight of the night for me personally was the lightsaber dueling. I didn't get the best parts of the clashing of sabers on video, but I achieved some fairly good footage. There was also more amazing chalk art this week, and it looks to be the same style of art as last week. I will try and hunt the artist down or catch them chalking there soon!
