if you are plankton or krill
don't worry about it.
until you get sufficient steempower
you do NOT get Curation Awards.
so it doesn't affect you.
the best thing you can do is.
as much as you can.
as often as you can
when you get enough SteemPower to earn curation awards
you are no longer phytoplankton or krill
you are a minnow

note: it's not immediately obvious but there are TWO separate sliders.
the vote for COMMENT slider
and
the vote for POST slider.
they can be adjusted separately and left there.

for example...when you vote on a comment you might set the slider at..oh...1%
I mean...it's just a comment right
but a post is something different.
if you REALLY like it...set the slider to 100%
if you don't like it so much set it less.
or nothing..
it's up to you.

after your vote power is recharged to max.

(go to steemstats enter your name..or anyone elses... on the left...and view stats)

what I was getting to was that you can set your
comment vote slider at
that will give you 100 votes for comments.
set your post slider at ...say...25%..that will give you 12 votes at 25% power...
you get to manage your vote power.
isn't that fun?
