Dear Steemit crew!
Today I will write about our Steem meeting that happened on 3rd of February 2018. in Šibenik with the main aim to exchange experiences and knowledge about Steemit as well as promotion of future activities of our community.
First, let me explain to you why didn't I post a photo of us at the meeting and why did I post a picture of Smurfs instead? Obviously, we should have taken a few photos, but we completely forgot about it because we had very interesting topics to discuss! The idea about Smurf's picture was brought up by 
The number of users on Steemit increases every day. Most of them are newbies who need help and guidelines for better success on this platform. It is important to give them short, clear and useful information so they could easily understand blog's functioning. Accordingly, one of our members and one of the first users on Steemit, 
We made a plan to go to a local coffee bar because we needed a quiet place without too much noise so we could talk in peace. Considering that this was our first official meeting, thanks to a quick agreement, we were delighted when few of us showed up. There were 6 of us and atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed!
It is especially interesting to meet in person people you talk to every day on Discord or people who take part in various events on Steemit! The best thing when we talk about conversation ''face to face '' is that you can help and share experiences faster and you get feedback from the others in the moment.After a couple of beers, there was no lack of laughter and a good joke!
What were we discussing about?
One of the main subjects was how to write a really good and quality posts and improve yourself to develop a good reputation. Every beginning is hard but if you have a will and supporters around , everything is much easier. Even though I am active Steemit user since December 2016, I still don't know so many things and this Meet-up helped me to discover some interesting facts related to witnesses and whales.There were also many great suggestions for improving work, and I was pleased to present my experience to new members.

I hope these meetings will be organized more often. It would be great to see more of us next time and we look forward to it! The only rule is if you want to come bring a smile and believe in bright Steem future!
