I have ~$100 in ETH. Would Trading It For Steem Power Be Worth It? (New Steemer Alert)

I've been doing a lot of reading regarding SteemIt and how all the gears work here - pretty nifty, I have to say.

I have about 0.4 ETH sitting in a wallet - I'm curious, being new here (been a minnow for 5 days!), would converting that little ETH to Steem Power make much of a difference growing my account/provide any sort of decent voting power which in turn might help me grow?

Any heavy hitters wanna weigh in on this? Whales, is it worth it?

Cause when I grow up, I wanna be a whale too!
