Start to change your life, and you will see how it will play with new colors.
Changes - the law of life. And those who look only to the past or only to the present will unquestionably miss the future.
John Kennedy, 35th President of the United States
Change is an invariable component of our lives. They are inevitable, and the more we resist them, the more difficult it becomes to live. There is no point in escaping from change - they will catch up with you anyway.
Change can come suddenly or because we have decided so. In the end, we have to make a choice: to change something in life or not.
We can not control events that fall like snow on our heads, but we can choose how to react to them. It is up to us to decide whether to allow positive changes in our lives.
1. Find the meaning of life
Try to determine what is important in your life and why. What do you want to achieve? What are you dreaming about? What makes you happy? Having found the meaning of life, you will begin to understand how you want to live it. Otherwise, an aimless, unhappy existence awaits you.
2. Make a wish board
When we were children, we constantly dreamed about something. We knew how to do it, we could imagine what we want to be when we grow up. We believed that everything is possible. But when they grew up, they lost the ability to dream. The achievement of the most desirable began to seem impossible.
A wish-board is a great way to start believing in your dreams again. If they are on the lookout every day, then it will be easier for you to implement them.
3. Set goals
When you understand what is important to you and what you dream about, start acting. Set long-term, intermediate and short-term goals. It is their achievement that will help you realize your dreams.
Remember that goals throughout life can change. Therefore, flexibility should be maintained. Making small steps, you create an impulse for big changes.
4. Stop regretting the past
Regrets hold you and do not allow you to move on. These are events of your past, and if you think about them all the time, it is easy to miss the present and the future. You can not change what you did or did not do in the past, so let it go.
To get rid of regrets, inflate the balloons with helium and on each write one regret. And then release them and say goodbye to your past. It seems silly, but psychologists say it works.
5. Choose something that scares you and do it.
Essence in the exit from the comfort zone. As an example, let's take a speech in public. For many people, this is one of the most frightening things, but this fear can be overcome. The first speech, most likely, will be terrible: your knees will shake, you will sweat. But after completing the performance, you will feel incredible joy.
Make a list of things that you would like to do, but are afraid. Plan everything, start and never stop.
6. Balance your life
Our physical, emotional and spiritual state worsens as we age. Nevertheless, we can control how we nourish the spirit and body. Living a balanced and healthy life, we create a solid barrier to physical changes.
The best way to keep an optimistic attitude to life is sport. By constantly doing, you will be a much happier and happier life.
7. Meet with your fears
Ignoring my fears and hoping that they will leave is quite easy. But unfortunately, it does not work like this. If you want to change your life, learn to control your fears so that they can not control you.
Fears - these are only remote from reality thoughts, in which we eventually start to believe. It's fears that prevent us from living to the fullest.
When fears control us, we begin to feel dissatisfaction. Having met with them face to face, we regain the right to decide how to live.
8. Accept yourself
The only person who can change your life is yourself. But first you must love yourself. On your life's path, you will face failures and people who do not like you. Nevertheless, when you accept and love yourself, it will be easier for you to move on.
Find in yourself the courage, love yourself and do something crazy. Do not worry about what others think and whether it is right to do so. If you feel with your heart that this is the right decision, then accept it.
9. Live the present moment
Motivation to change in life comes from the desire to be happy. We so often surrender to the pursuit of happiness, that we cease to enjoy the present moment.
The desire to be happy relates to the future, and not to the present. We become so absorbed in problems and discontent in the present that we miss the precious beauty of the moment. We become happier and more joyful, showing daily gratitude and helping the needy.
Our life is fleeting, do not live as others tell you. Let's tear up the pattern of the usual life.
You have to live the way you want. I wish you luck on your journey!
