I keep getting told that there is no rule disallowing vote selling/buying, and that renting sp is the best roi on the platform.
It's just buying visibility from those empowered to sell it.
Well, life has no rules against me walking down the street and randomly kicking folks in the shins, either.
On any given Friday I can kick all the folks that I feel like kicking and life shrugs and says, 'Meh'.
Now we all know that people will react against this transgression, team up, and stop me from kicking folks in the shins, given enough time, but the fact is, there is nothing stopping me from doing this except me.
I agree that life would lose something if everybody kicked everybody in the shins, so I don't do that.
Buuut, here on steemit, the only folks that can put a halt to this madness is stinc, and they don't give a damn about anything but more profits for themselves and their precious investors.
They say they don't care about the blogging, they only care about the blockchain.
That is a clue people.
Perhaps those 'investors' in steem that care about steem as it was originally envisioned should start to buy the shares of stinc to oust those that want to make this about bank accounts and not accounts of people.
Right now, 30% of the reward pool goes to bidbots.

Most of the remaining 40% goes to the trending page, leaving pennies for the newbs, and the not so newbs, alike.
I don't see many content creators that are happy with how things are going here, except a few who put great effort in making the bidbots profitable.
If this is where steem is going, I think we need to be apprised of that by stinc so that we can pull our support.
If all they want is a cryptocurrency and not a blogging platform, they need to stop leading us on about that.
This place was sold to me as a 'fair' place to blog and get paid, now it seems it's nothing more than a money grab for the whales.
Thanks a lot stinc, wonderful reputation you are earning in the cryptosphere.
